Shantanu Mahesh Sukhtankar began their work experience in 2017 as a Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science, where they conducted recitation lectures, solved doubts, and graded assignments and projects for the undergraduate course "Control Systems."

In 2017, Sukhtankar also worked as an Intern at JMA Wireless, where they were a member of the Automation department and involved in RF software and equipment testing. Shantanu Mahesh gained hands-on experience with hardware tools like PIM and Network Analyzer and developed test programs and interfaces for the production line.

In 2018, Sukhtankar interned at Arcom Digital, where they designed RF filter circuit schematic and layout against specifications. Shantanu Mahesh performed EM simulations using modelithics in AWR and built and assembled hardware prototypes for testing using lab equipment. Shantanu Mahesh also redesigned the schematic for improved performance.

Currently, Sukhtankar is employed as an Electrical Design Engineer at Mini-Circuits, starting from March 2019.

Shantanu Mahesh Sukhtankar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Shantanu Mahesh further pursued their education at Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science, specializing in Electrical Engineering from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Shantanu also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Shantanu Mahesh completed the "Advanced Materials in Electronic Packaging" course at Udemy in February 2022. In September 2020, they obtained the "PCB/Electronics: Thermal Management, Cooling and Derating" certification from Udemy. In May 2017, they completed the courses "5G, 4G-LTE,3G, 2G Cellular Mobile Communication Network" and "Wireless Technology: Fundamentals of LTE" at Udemy. Prior to that, in October 2015, Shantanu received training as a Cisco Certified Network Associate from Aptech Computer Education-Sudan.
