David Beatty is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product design and tooling. Currently serving as NPI Engineering Manager at Colson Group - USA since January 2014, David has previously held roles including Senior Product Design Engineer. David's expertise includes production mold design and part design feasibility from time spent as a Design Engineer at Johnson Controls Automotive. As the Owner of Apex 3d Design Services, Inc., David provided innovative design solutions for complex projects. David's career began at Mach Mold Inc., where roles ranged from Tooling/Sales Engineer to Journeyman Mold Maker, specializing in plastic injection tooling and CNC programming. David holds a Technical degree in Tool & Die from Lake Michigan College, earned between 1983 and 1987.
