Elliot Abbott, PhD has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and technology industries. Elliot currently works as a Clinical Engineer at MIM Software Inc. Since 2019, they have served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Integrated Cancer Research Foundation of Kenya. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Radiation Oncology Researcher at Sarah Cannon. In 2020, they were a Full Stack Software Engineer at Idea Atlas. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Cancer Researcher at the University of Oxford, where they focused on optimizing radiotherapy for liver and colorectal cancers. Before that, from 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Chemistry Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Florida. In 2013, they were a Cell Biology Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Elliot'searly career experience includes working as a Quality System Analyst at Trescal Group from 2010 to 2013.

Elliot Abbott, PhD, has an impressive education history in the field of Oncology. Elliot obtained their DPhil degree in Oncology from the University of Oxford in 2020. Prior to that, they completed their MSc in Radiation Biology at the same university in 2015. Elliot also holds a Dual Bachelor's degree in Chemistry & Physics, which they earned from the University of Florida in 2014. In addition to their formal degrees, they have obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. These include certifications in Word 2016: Advanced Tips and Tricks and Word 2016: Creating Long Documents from Lynda.com in July 2019. Furthermore, Elliot has a certification in the Physics of Medical Imaging: Nuclear Medicine, which they obtained from The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in March 2015. Elliot is also a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), which they joined in May 2014.
