Lydia Vaine has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and industries. Lydia started their career as a Barista at Starbucks in January 2019 and worked there until May 2019. In May 2019, Lydia joined INPO as a Programmer Analyst COOP and remained in that role until June 2020. In June 2020, they joined Georgia Tech Research Institute as an Aircraft Protection Systems Software Co-op and worked there until May 2022. Lydia then transitioned to Thrive Technologies as a Software Developer in June 2022 and stayed in this position until June 2023. Currently, Lydia is working as a Software Engineer at Thompson Software Solutions, starting in June 2023.

Lydia Vaine attended Kennesaw State University from 2016 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, Lydia also obtained various certifications. In 2022, they earned the "2021-22 Volunteer Badge" from Microsoft. In 2020, they achieved first place in the HPCC Systems competition, receiving the "HPCC Systems 1st Place Winner" certification from Badgr (now part of Instructure). In 2019, they participated in the CCSE Hackathon and received a certification as a participant from Badgr (now part of Instructure). In 2023, they obtained the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
