Christopher Doane has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as an IT Consultant for Doane's Design. In 2013, they were a Volunteer Webmaster for Wermlands Nation i Linköping. In 2016, they volunteered with Engineers without Borders in a Ghana water project. In 2017, they held multiple roles at Arccore AB, including Software Engineer Internship, Development Engineer, and Software Engineer Team Lead. In the same year, they also had a Software Developer Internship at Agricam AB. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Telavox as a Software Engineer, where they authored an npm package that made cross-frame post-messaging synchronous. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Mighty Networks, where they constructed the first iteration of the hashtag search infrastructure, including intelligent typeahead suggestions and direct hashtag content linking. Christopher also introduced multi-language support, with continuous iterative improvements ongoing.

Christopher Doane received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Linköping University in 2017, after attending from 2014-2017. Prior to that, they attended Letchworth High School from 2009-2012. Christopher is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they began in 2020.
