Kevin Farnum has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a Machine Operator position at Solo Cup in 2011. Kevin then took a Quality Compliance Coordinator role at KIK Custom Products in the same year. In 2012, they worked as a Line Technician Intern at Kraft Foods Inc. and in 2013, they worked as a Maintenance Mechanic at Conair Corporation and as a Design Engineer-Porter Custom Division at Litania Sports Group via Aerotek. In 2014, they were a Design Engineer at Litania Sports Group. In 2017, they were a Supply Chain Development Technician at Caterpillar Inc. and from 2018 to 2021, they were a Manufacturing Engineer at KONE Corporation. Currently, they are a Plant Engineer at IMH Products.
Kevin Farnum received their High School Diploma from Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School in 2005-2007. Kevin then attended Naval Nuclear Power School from 2005-2007. After that, they attended Parkland College from 2010-2013, where they earned their Associate of Science (A.S.) in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician, Industrial Technology. Finally, they attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2015-2017, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Engineering and Industrial Management. In addition, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Professional Development certification from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in October 2016.
