Omar Al-Zuhairi, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. Omar currently works as a Process Engineer at AIXTRON SE since August 2022. Previously, they held the position of Senior Lecturer at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) from September 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they worked at the University of Malaya as a Postdoctoral Researcher from January 2020 to August 2020, where they conducted studies on the growth/deposition of III/V semiconductor materials. Omar also worked as a Research Assistant at the same university from September 2014 to December 2019, where they focused on investigating the characteristics of III/V semiconductor materials. Furthermore, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Cihan University-Erbil from January 2010 to August 2011.

Omar Al-Zuhairi, Ph.D. has a strong background in physics and optoelectronic devices. Omar obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the University of Technology, Baghdad in 2009. Omar continued their studies and earned a Master's degree in Microwave Science from the University Putra Malaysia, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Later, Omar pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Experimental Physics/III-V based Optoelectronic Devices from the University of Malaya, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they have an unspecified certification in Master and Degree.
