MGT Teesside Ltd is a project company which will build, own and operate the Tees Renewable Energy Plant (Tees REP), a 299 MWe CHP biomass plant under construction. Construction began in August 2016 after financial close, with commissioning due to begin in 2019 and full commercial ops from early 2020.

The Tees REP is a landmark renewable energy project. Costing £650m to build, it will be the largest dedicated biomass power plant in the world, and is the largest thermal-combustion power plant under construction in the UK today.
