Thomas Furlong currently serves as the Chief Autonomy Officer at RV Weather since October 2023 and is a Senior Research Scientist at Metron, Inc. since September 2013. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Scientist at Metron, Inc., and Graduate Research Assistant at the Spray Physics and Engine Research Laboratory at Georgia Institute of Technology, where complex modeling techniques for cavitation were explored. Earlier, Thomas contributed to the Multiphase Flow Simulation Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and conducted undergraduate research at the University of Notre Dame. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University of Notre Dame, respectively.
