Xavier Schmoor is a Data Scientist at METCLOUD since April 2023, focusing on the development of an innovative security solution to assist security analysts through data extraction from SIEM platforms using APIs. Previously, Xavier worked as a KTP Associate - Researcher in AI/ML for Cybersecurity at Birmingham City University from February 2018 to March 2023, where the role involved developing a prototype to enhance cyberattack identification using AI and ML, as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with METCLOUD. Other experiences include serving as a Research Assistant in Open Data Engineering at Birmingham City Council, where data science support was provided through the analysis of datasets and development of interactive dashboards. Earlier career roles encompassed project management at Horus HealthCare Systems, database conception at CHU de Toulouse, software development at STUDELEC, and R&D at Thales Avionics. Xavier holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Innovation and Research in Informatics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Master's in Information Systems and Computer Science in e-health from Ecole d'Ingénieurs ISIS.
