Adam Smolinski is an accomplished UX research and design leader with over two decades of experience in enhancing user experiences across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Director of UX Research at GitLab Inc., Adam previously held roles at Expedia Group and Microsoft, driving strategic research initiatives and influencing product enhancements for major brands and product lines. At Microsoft, Adam's work on OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams has significantly shaped user experience strategies. Prior to this, experience includes positions at LexisNexis and Sierra Systems, where successful projects involved revamping software customer experiences and developing innovative systems. Adam holds a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Iowa State University and has a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources Conservation from Washington State University.
