John Antoniades is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in advanced technologies. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President for Engineering and EOIR Systems at Meta Materials Inc. since April 2022, John also founded Vlepsis Inc. in 2017 and has been the Founder and CEO of Panopses LLC since October 2015. Prior roles include Director of ISR Systems Technology at BAE Systems and Director of Imaging Systems at APTI. John's career began at the Naval Research Laboratory, where responsibilities included overseeing plasma physics, remote sensing, and hyperspectral imaging systems. Academically, John holds a PhD in Plasma and High-Temperature Physics from the University of Maryland, along with an MS and BS in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
