Mikus Janvars is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and corporate finance. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Merito Partners since October 2022 and a member of the Supervisory Board at Mintos since December 2020, Mikus has previously held key supervisory roles at Primekss, Mogotel Development Holding, and icotton. Mikus was also an Investment Director at ALTUM, overseeing a EUR 100 million Covid-19 relief fund. Earlier in the career, Mikus was Group Co-CEO of Mogo Finance, driving strategic development in a multinational fintech environment, and played a pivotal role as a Founding Partner at Porta Finance, establishing it as a leading Baltic M&A house. Mikus began professional journey at Evli Bank and NASDAQ OMX, where notable contributions included re-establishing corporate finance operations and launching initiatives for the Baltic capital markets. Academic credentials include a B.Sc. in Business Administration and an M.Sc. in International Economic Relations.
