Joseph Okyere has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joseph began their career at the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and NEPAD in Ghana as a Research Assistant. From there, they worked at the Institute of Statistical, Social & Economic Research as a Field Research Assistant and later as a Field Supervisor & Data Processor. Joseph then transitioned to a role at Generation Focus, an NGO in Ghana, where they served as a Program Coordinator. Joseph then joined Opportunity International Savings and Loans Company, first as a Relationship Officer in Group Micro-Banking and then as a Credit Supervisor in ISME Banking. After that, they worked at Medeem Ghana Limited as a Program Manager. Joseph co-founded Casa De Ropa Ghana Limited, where they served as the Chief Product Officer and Co-founder. Following this, they became a Senior Partner at Cuwsoft Consult. Currently, Joseph is working at Meridia as the Ghana Co-founder and Managing Director, and they recently joined PLACE as the Representative for Africa.
Joseph Okyere has a diverse education history. Joseph obtained a Professional Executive Master's degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from IPLS. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate's Degree from the Ghana Stock Exchange. Before pursuing higher education, Joseph completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree at the University of Ghana. Finally, they completed their high school education at T.I. Ahmadiyya Secondary School in Kumasi, Accra, where they studied Business Management, Principles of Accounting, and Principles of Costing.
