Brendan Laing serves as the Engineer in Residence at Albany Medical College's Biomedical Acceleration and Commercialization Center (BACC) since December 2019, where responsibilities include assisting clinicians in technology development and facilitating commercialization processes. Additionally, Brendan is the Founder and CEO of IV Wedge LLC, a startup focused on a catheter stabilization accessory aimed at improving patient care and reducing complications. As a Project Manager at Somml Health, Brendan contributes to a virtual care platform that enhances patient monitoring and communication. Previous experience includes an internship at Nanoprobes, Inc., where Brendan developed heat transfer models related to cancer research. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Union College and has pursued independent studies at various institutions, including Queen's University and Anglia Ruskin University.
