Thomas Essel is an experienced professional in the healthcare and research sectors, currently serving as the Field Operations Lead for Medtronic LABS in the Ashanti and Western North regions since March 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician at Pokuase Health Center, where responsibilities included phlebotomy, serology, hematology analysis, urinalysis, and microscopy. Thomas has also contributed as a Research Consultant at Teacons Secretariat, assisted in knowledge management as a Program Officer at PACKS Africa, and coordinated projects as a Research Assistant at the University of Ghana's Biomedical Engineering department. Thomas's academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Ghana, a Professional Diploma in Database Technology from IPMC Ghana, and current studies towards a Master of Science in Health Informatics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
