Eric Hananoki is a Senior Investigative Reporter at Media Matters for America since November 2007, previously holding roles including Researcher, Senior Researcher, Research Fellow, and Investigative Reporter. Hananoki contributed to The Al Franken Show from June 2005 to February 2007 as a Researcher, Segment Producer, and Webwriter for a nationally recognized radio program with 1.5 million weekly listeners. Additionally, Hananoki served as the Director of Online Communications for the Midwest Values Political Action Committee from February 2006 to January 2007, where responsibilities included advising on the online presence of founder Al Franken and launching the PAC's website and email list. Hananoki earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University (2002-2005) and graduated with a High School Diploma from Iolani School (1989-2002).
