Wisnu Nugroho has extensive experience in journalism and education, currently serving as Editor In Chief at Kompas.com since January 2016 and as a lecturer at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara since February 2015. With a career that began in July 2001 at Harian Kompas, Wisnu has held numerous roles, including journalist, politics editor, and vice editor in Yogyakarta, demonstrating expertise in reporting, editing, and coordinating news coverage on national issues. Wisnu's academic background includes a master's degree in communication from the University of Indonesia and a bachelor's degree in German philosophy from Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat Driyarkara.
