Jayson McIvor is an accomplished network engineer with extensive experience in IT and systems engineering. Currently at MedData since September 2015, Jayson played a key role in the COVID-19 response by implementing the Horizon VDI solution, enabling over 500 employees to work from home and managing 400+ remote VPN connections, resulting in significant cost savings. Prior to this, Jayson spent 15 years at MegaPath as a systems engineer, focusing on training and technical support for network operations. Earlier roles included systems administration and engineering at Aventail and Hewlett-Packard, where Jayson provided SSL VPN services for large enterprises, maintained critical network configurations, and managed firewall settings. Jayson began an IT career at the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the same institution.
