Jamie Wright has a diverse work experience spanning over 23 years. They started their career at SSE plc as a Team Manager from May 1998 to April 2003. After that, Jamie worked as a Finance and Property Manager at SERVICED LETTINGS LIMITED from April 2003 to October 2005. They then became the Head of Finance at Servicedstays Limited & Surfcan Technologies Limited from October 2005 to December 2009. From 2010 to 2016, Jamie held various roles at Seren Group, including Management Accountant, Cost Accountant, and Commercial Manager. Following this, they worked as a Commercial Manager at Pobl Group from April 2016 to January 2020. Currently, Jamie is the Senior Commercial Manager and Operations Director at Mears Group PLC, starting in January 2020 and October 2022, respectively.

Jamie Wright attended Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a high school degree. From 2004 to 2007, they studied at Coleg Glan Hafren, focusing on the field of study of Association of Accounting Technicians. Continuing their education, from 2014 to 2015, Jamie pursued the field of study of ILM - Leadership and Management at the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). In 2015, they completed a course on Managing Safely at IOSH. The most recent educational endeavor was at the ILM, where Jamie pursued the field of study of ILM Leadership and Management from 2017 to 2018.
