Debra Honegger currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Coordinator of the Early Learning Program at Pontiac CCSD 429, while also working as an Early Learning Instructional Coach for McLean County Unit 5 School District. Instructing future educators in literacy instruction at Illinois State University since 2015, Debra also develops and facilitates online education courses for the institution. With extensive experience as an Education Coordinator and Instructional Coach, Debra collaborates with educators across grades PreK-12, focusing on literacy instruction and student assessment. Debra's previous roles include Early Childhood Instructional Coach at Union Public Schools and Special Education and Early Childhood Supervisor for Miamisburg City Schools. Debra holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, both from Illinois State University.
