Michael Smith is currently the Commercial Group President - Commercial Banking at MB Financial Bank since August 2014. Prior to that, Michael held the position of Group Senior Vice President at Cole Taylor Bank from 2008 to present. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Iowa, Michael has an extensive background in banking, having served as a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at various institutions such as LaSalle Bank, Lasalle/Bank of America, LaSalle National Bank / ABN-AMRO, and ABN AMRO Bank.
