Nate VanderWoude has extensive experience in the banking industry, with their most recent role being Vice President of Commercial Lending at ChoiceOne Bank since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TCF Bank as an Assistant Vice President of Business Banking from 2016 to 2021, and also served as a Commercial Credit Analyst from 2014 to 2016. Before entering the banking sector, Nate worked as a Staff Accountant/Benefits Manager at Clarence Davids & Company from 2013 to 2014, and as a Staff Accountant at Dreyer, Ooms & Van Drunen, Ltd. Certified Public Accountants in 2013.

Nate VanderWoude attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting from Trinity Christian College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Nate also completed their high school education at Unity Christian High School in Michigan.
