Rob Hughes is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software architecture and development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at May Mobility since November 2022. Prior to this role, Rob spent over 16 years at Schlumberger, holding various positions including Plugin Architect and Software Architect, where significant contributions were made in guiding the development and integration of sophisticated software systems, leveraging technologies such as Python, C#, RabbitMQ, and Azure Pipelines. Rob also has a background in project management and user experience design and has successfully led efforts in automating workflows and enhancing application extensibility. Rob's career began at Phase Engineering, Inc. and Pride International, where foundational skills in web development and documentation were established. Rob holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
