Josiah Madar is an experienced attorney currently supporting multifamily residential lending and internal operations at MassHousing, a Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency, since November 2016. Prior to this role, Josiah served as a Research Affiliate and Research Fellow at the Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy at NYU, where extensive analysis of public policy and legal research on housing and finance issues was conducted. Josiah also worked as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell from 2002 to 2007, representing various clients in the real estate sector and managing legal documentation and due diligence. Earlier experience includes serving as an Urban Planner at Sasaki Associates from 1997 to 1999, contributing to development plans and transportation studies. Josiah holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
