Lindsay Rooney is an experienced nonprofit leader currently serving as the Director of Operations & External Affairs at Massachusetts Service Alliance since November 2008, focusing on brand promotion and legislative advocacy. Prior to this role, Lindsay held a prominent position on the Board of Directors and co-chaired the Communications Committee for Women in Development of Greater Boston. Previous experience includes managing significant fundraising events as Special Events Manager for Tenacity and coordinating advocacy campaigns at Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath). Early in Lindsay's career, valuable skills were developed as a Legislative Aide for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, supporting legislative initiatives in health and domestic violence. Lindsay holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature and Women's Studies from Brandeis University.
