Mark Lilienthal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Mark began their career as an InstaSports Coordinator at AWS Convergence Technologies, where they oversaw customer service representatives and assisted in the development of a real-time sports scores program. Mark then worked as a University Relations Coordinator at Middlebury College, where they wrote and edited study abroad materials and recruited students.

Following that, Lilienthal joined the Deval Patrick Campaign, initially serving as a Volunteer Coordinator, where they managed and recruited volunteers and interns. Mark later became the Energy and Environment Transition Coordinator, organizing meetings and compiling public feedback. Mark also worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Speechwriter for Governor Deval L. Patrick and later as the Director of Constituent Services, leading a team and developing innovative systems.

Lilienthal then worked as a Project Manager at the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, where they developed and implemented a communications strategy for a food market. Mark also wrote articles and took photographs as a Correspondent Local de Presse at Le Bien Public SA.

In their own business, Lilienthal Communications, they provided comprehensive communications services to clients and implemented public relations campaigns. Mark joined Mascoma Bank as a Digital Marketing Manager and later became the Assistant Vice President of Digital Marketing. Currently, they serve as the Vice President and Marketing Director at Mascoma Bank, overseeing all aspects of marketing functions and supervising a team.

In their self-employed capacity, Lilienthal worked as a Freelance Writer for various publications and as a Political Lecturer. Mark also worked as a Tour Guide in Burgundy, conducting tours and educating clients about winemaking.

Mark Lilienthal attended Hanover High School from 1989 to 1993. Mark then went on to study at Hamilton College from 1993 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government/French.
