Edward van Herk has extensive experience in aviation, including a long tenure at Martinair Cargo since August 1995, where Edward currently serves as Head of Flight Operations. Edward has held various key positions, including Captain of the Boeing 747-400 and MD-11, with responsibilities for safely operating aircraft on scheduled flights. In addition to operational roles, Edward has managed flight training, supervised line checks, and served on the Fuel Management Board, advising on fuel efficiency. Previous experience includes co-piloting roles at Air East Inc. and Bun Air Corporation, as well as flight instruction with Laurel Ridge Aviation.
