Alex Mason is an experienced operations analyst currently working at Marshall Wace since August 2023. Previously, Alex has held roles at Millennium Management as a commodities analyst in the middle office and as a middle office specialist since October 2018. Prior experience includes working as a trading assistant at MUFG from November 2017 to October 2018 and a quantitative intern at Nanolytics Capital Advisors in early 2017, where Alex developed Python code for creating trading holiday calendars. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Surrey (2013-2016) and completed the Capital Markets Programme at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in 2018.
