- From July 2017 to December 2020, they worked as a Regulatory Change Business Analyst at NatWest Markets Plc.

- Prior to that, they were a Trade and Transaction Reporting Analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland from October 2013 to July 2017.

Matthew McLellan attended Blackpool Sixth Form from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued A-levels in Economics, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry. Matthew then enrolled at the University of Central Lancashire in 2010 and completed their BA Hons degree in Economics in 2013.
