Melissa Francis is an accomplished author at Mango Publishing since January 2022 and currently serves as a MS SLP CCC with the Los Alamitos Unified School District. As a business owner of Boards by Melfran since April 2020, Melissa has also gained extensive experience as a Graduate Student Intern at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and as a Speech Language Pathologist Graduate Clinician at SAUSD. With additional roles as a student clinician at Los Alamitos High School and McAuliffe Middle School, as well as volunteer experience with the Down's Syndrome Association, Melissa has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting individuals with speech and language needs. Previous experience includes working as a Direct Interventionist at Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. and as an intern at Jump and Schout Therapy. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Communications Sciences and Disorders from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
