Caue Alves is the Chief Curator of the Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, a position held since July 2020, and has also served as a Professor and Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo since August 2009. Additional academic contributions include teaching at PUC-SP since February 2010 and various roles at prestigious institutions such as the Museu Brasileiro da Escultura - MuBE and MAM-SP. Caue Alves holds a Doctorate in Philosophy, Esthetics, and Philosophy of Art from FFLCH-USP, complemented by a Master's in Esthetics and a Bachelor's and Teaching Degree in Philosophy, also from FFLCH-USP.
