Annemarie Cuccia has a diverse range of work experience across various organizations. Annemarie currently holds the role of Interim Editor in Chief at Street Sense Media, where they are responsible for overseeing the publication. Prior to this, Annemarie worked as an Accountability Reporter for the same company. Annemarie has also worked at The Georgetown Voice, where they held multiple roles including Editorial Board Member, Service Chair and Photo Editor, Editor in Chief, Managing Editor, News Editor, Features Editor, and Assistant News Editor. In addition, they served as a Campus Liaison for Students for D.C. Statehood, where they led the club and organized events. Annemarie also gained experience as a Production Intern at The Hill, contributing to the production of their daily news show. Annemarie worked as a Podcast PR Intern at Pursuing Results, where they pitched guests to various podcasts. Furthermore, Annemarie served as an Employment and Income Reporting Intern at Street Sense Media, reporting on housing, rent, and unemployment policies. Annemarie also worked as an Intern at NONDOC, where they wrote political coverage and contributed to the coverage of the 2020 legislative races. Additionally, Annemarie worked as a Consultant at Georgetown Global Consulting, focusing on non-profit global development organizations. Finally, they gained experience as a Sound Designer at Nomadic Theater and as a Congressional Intern in the Office of Rep. Kendra Horn at the U.S. House of Representatives.
Annemarie Cuccia attended Norman High School from 2014 to 2018 and graduated with a High School Diploma. Annemarie then pursued their higher education at Georgetown University from 2018 to 2022. At Georgetown, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on International Politics - Law, Institutions, and Ethics. In addition, they pursued minors in Spanish and Journalism.
