Shannon Hunter is a Capella Doctoral Candidate with extensive experience in health services and social work. Currently serving as Family Engagement Director at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, since September 2021, Shannon has also held the position of Manager of Clinical Health Services. In addition to this role, Shannon has been a Senior Adjunct at Malone University since August 2019. Prior experience includes roles at CareSource from August 2016 to June 2021 as Community Health Liaison, Case Manager, and Care Manager, as well as serving as an ER Social Worker at Aultman Hospital from July 2007 to August 2016. Shannon was also the Director of Behavioral Health & Residential Services at Coleman from December 2011 to August 2014 and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Simon Lake from January 1991 to December 1994. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from The University of Akron and a Core of Knowledge Course from The Ohio State University.
