Mary Murphy is an experienced professional in residential and leisure services, currently serving as the Head of Residences Services at Cardiff University since July 2020. Prior to this role, Mary held positions at Ulster University from December 2012 to July 2020, including Residential Life Manager and Accommodation Officer. Earlier experience includes the role of Leisure Development Manager at Rockhill Holiday Park from May 2005 to November 2012, where self-catering accommodations were promoted. Additionally, Mary worked with Belfast City Council in various capacities between September 2004 and May 2005, including assistant organiser for the Belfast City Marathon and Facilities Supervisor in the Parks & Leisure Department. Mary holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a BSc Hons in Sport, Exercise and Leisure from Ulster University.
