Emily Castro is a Special Events Coordinator at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association as of February 2023. Previously, Emily served as a Team Operations Coordinator for Major League Baseball's Arizona Fall League, serving as the main on-site contact between MLB and the Scottsdale team, facilitating communication among coaching staff, players, and MLB executives. Prior experience includes a position as a Softball Graduate Assistant Manager at the University of Florida, where responsibilities encompassed team operations, practice organization, and event hosting during significant tournaments. Emily also completed internships with the Cam Newton Foundation in 2018 and 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Sports Management with a focus on Law from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Public Relations from Western Carolina University.
