Armand Alessi has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare and emergency services industries. Armand is currently the Director of Safety and Security at Main Line Health, where they have been since 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Support Services at Lankenau Hospital starting in 2013. From 2006 to 2013, Alessi was the Director of Safety and Security at Crozer Keystone Health System, overseeing programs related to environment of care, security, emergency management, and safety management. Before that, they held the position of Director of Emergency Services at the American Red Cross, Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter from 2003 to 2006. Alessi began their career at Mercy Health System in 1984 as the Director of EMS and held that role until 2003.
Armand Alessi holds a Master of Science degree in Safety Management and Environmental Protection from Saint Joseph's University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Armand also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Neumann University, earned from 2000 to 2002. In addition, Armand Alessi has completed the Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) program and attained a Healthcare Environmental Manager Certification from ECRI in 2007. Furthermore, they have engaged in professional development activities within the education field.
