Russell O'Brien has extensive experience in the financial industry, starting in various executive and sales roles in 1995. Russell then worked at Credit Suisse as the Director and Head of Institutional Sales and Marketing, North America, Portfolio Transition Services from 2003 to 2005. After that, they joined Russell Investments as the Director of Alternative Investments from 2006 to 2009. Russell subsequently worked at FLAG Capital Management, LLC as a Director from 2010 to 2013. From 2014 to 2018, they co-founded and served as the Co-CEO of Nu Paradigm Investment Partners, LLC, where they advised on over $2 billion in assets. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Senior Solutions Director at abrdn, where they implemented multi-asset investment solutions. Russell currently holds the position of Managing Director, Strategic Capital Markets at MAG Capital Partners since November, 2023.

Russell O'Brien holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Psychology from Tufts University. Russell also has additional certifications, including SERIES 7, Series 63/65, and Series 9/10, obtained from FINRA.
