Asuka Matsumoto is an experienced Quality Management Systems (QMS) specialist currently employed at Maestro Logistics since January 2023. Previously, Asuka held similar roles at Medtronic from July 2014 to December 2019, where responsibilities included external and internal audits, project management for new product launches, and manufacturing site registration. Prior to that, from July 2005 to July 2014, Asuka worked as a Vigilance Specialist at Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group), focusing on complaint handling, product recalls, FDA MDR reports, and post-market surveillance clinical research. Asuka holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Sophia University, completed in March 1995.
