Ruth Summers is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in special project management and special education. Currently serving as a Special Project Manager at MAB Community Services since November 2018, Ruth previously held multiple roles at Citizen Schools from July 2012 to December 2016, including Staff Support Coordinator, Teaching Fellow, and Coordinator of Special Education. In these positions, Ruth developed training programs for Americorps Teaching Fellows, wrote lesson plans for special education students, and provided guidance on relationship-building and behavior management strategies. Ruth holds a Master of Education in human development and psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Tufts University.
