Van-Long Tran is a Senior Research Engineer at LUTRONIC since September 2014, specializing in the design and development of pulsed power systems for medical laser applications with a focus on digital controller technology. Prior to this role, Van-Long Tran served as a Research Assistant at the School of Electronic Engineering, Soongsil University from September 2012 to August 2014, where responsibilities included the design of switch mode power converters for renewable energy sources and battery loads, utilizing a DSP controller for both hardware (AC-DC and DC-DC converters up to 10kW) and software (TI DSP TMS320F28xxx series). Van-Long Tran holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Soongsil University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
