Laura McDaniel has extensive experience in various roles related to resident and community resources, development and outreach, client and search services, stewardship and planned giving, and development and volunteer coordination. Laura served as the Director of Resident and Community Resources at Twin Lakes Community from August 2017 to the present. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Development and Outreach at the same company from May 2012 to August 2017. Before joining Twin Lakes Community, Laura was the Manager of Client and Search Services at Capital Development Services from July 2010 to May 2012. From October 2005 to July 2010, they held the position of Stewardship and Planned Giving Director at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Laura also worked as the Development and Volunteer Coordinator at Skyland Trail from January 2003 to July 2005 and as an Assistant Campaign Manager at Coxe Curry & Associates from September 1999 to December 2002.

Laura McDaniel attended Duke University in 2016 to obtain a certificate in Non-Profit Management. In 1994, they enrolled in The University of the South and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1998.
