Frederik Knust has extensive work experience in various roles. Frederik started their career as a BA-Student Wirtschaftsinformatik at IBM Deutschland GmbH from October 2007 to September 2010. Frederik then worked as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT from March 2012 to September 2013. Frederik joined Connext Communication GmbH in September 2014 as a Software Developer and continued working there until May 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Lumibit GmbH, which they started in May 2023.

Frederik Knust completed their education in a chronological manner. Frederik first attended VWA Hochschule für berufsbegleitendes Studium from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik at Paderborn University from 2010 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Frederik Knust obtained the Professional Scrum Developer and Professional Scrum Master I certifications from Scrum.org in April 2017. Additionally, they completed the Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree program from Udacity in February 2015.
