Paul Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in instrumentation data, big data analysis, and test engineering. Currently serving as an Instrumentation Data Engineer at Air Force Research Laboratory since August 2018, Paul supports wind tunnel testing data acquisition and ensures data reliability. Concurrently, Paul has been a Big Data Engineer at Viviota since August 2016, where expertise in operational technology has led to improved efficiencies in test data management. Previous roles include Data Acquisition and Control Engineer at Analytical Services and Materials, Inc., Systems Engineer at Honda R&D/Gemtech and Sytronics, and Test Engineer positions at Sierra Nevada, Solectron, and Sanmina-Sci. Paul holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and has pursued further education at Wright State University.
