Elke Van Damme is an experienced academic in the field of audiovisual arts and communication. As the Coördinator for the bachelor and master programs in Animation at LUCA School of Arts since September 2013, Elke teaches 'culture and media studies 1' to first-year bachelor students at Campus St. Lukas in Brussels. Additionally, Elke serves as the Opleidingshoofd for Audiovisuele Kunsten at Hogeschool 'Sint-Lukas' Brussels and has held a position as a Guest Professor at Ghent University, where the course 'international communication' is taught, alongside responsibilities for supervising master theses and research papers. Elke completed a PhD at Ghent University after attaining a Bachelor in Social Assistance from Arteveldehogeschool.
