Katrin Vangelova is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Climate Change Communications Officer at London Councils since October 2022, focusing on collaboration among local authorities to achieve net zero goals. Previously, Katrin held the position of Communications Officer at the London Borough of Newham from September 2021 to September 2022, where responsibilities included managing a service-wide communications program and overseeing the Youth Empowerment brand. Prior experience also includes a role as a Mentor and Educational Clinician at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, where Katrin implemented research-based teaching methods for students with learning difficulties, and as a DG IPOL Trainee at the European Parliament. Katrin holds a Master of Laws in International and European Public Law from KU Leuven and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Criminology from Lancaster University.
