Ciara Nugent is an experienced professional in localization and project management, currently serving as a Team Manager and Localisation Content Lead at Locaria, a Stagwell company, since August 2019, following a successful tenure at GlobaLexicon from July 2012 to July 2019, where roles included Team Lead and Senior Project Manager. Ciara's expertise encompasses the management of project life cycles, team leadership, ISO compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Previous experience includes a volunteer translation role with Mapping the World, and internships at Language Connect and Granta Books, where Ciara honed skills in project management, quality assessment, and manuscript evaluation. Ciara holds a Master of Arts in Translation Theory and Practice from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Italian from Trinity College Dublin.
