Nikolay Shkolnik is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at LiquidPiston, Inc., which is a venture capital-backed startup focused on internal combustion engines, where involvement has been since June 2004. Prior to this role, Nikolay served as a Program Manager at Gen3 Partners from April 2001 to October 2006, leading project management in innovation disciplines and overseeing analysis and market research teams across Russia and Israel. Earlier experience includes a position as Project Manager at Invention Machine from 1996 to 2001. Nikolay holds a Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on General Relativity from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Thermodynamics from Kiev Politech Institute.
