Ryno Strydom is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in asset management and reliability engineering. Currently serving as the Reliability & Projects Manager at Element Six since November 2022, Ryno has expanded responsibilities to lead the Business Unit's major projects portfolio and support high-level strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, Ryno was the Reliability Manager at Element Six, where key contributions included developing best-practice asset management strategies and adopting predictive maintenance practices. Ryno's prior experience at Anglo American from January 2012 to November 2022 included roles as Senior Mechanical Engineer and Reliability Engineer, focusing on mechanical and structural engineering support and reliability programs. Ryno holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering, an Honours degree in Mechanics: Physical Asset Management, and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Sustainability in Physical Asset Management at the University of Pretoria.
