Hélio Freitas has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Hélio began as an Administrative Assistant at Redware in 2005, followed by two Trainee roles at Novabase in 2011 and 2014. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a self-employed Freelance PHP Developer. After that, they were a Web Developer at cleverti from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they became a Senior PHP Programmer at Nearshore Portugal, and they currently work as a Lead Backend Developer and Backend Developer at Linkfire since 2021.

Hélio Freitas obtained a Licentiate degree in Tecnologia da Informação e Multimédia from the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco between 2010 and 2016.
